Education:

Work Background:

  • Public sector management and policy development, technical assistance to municipalities, nonprofits and community-based organizations, program delivery in housing and commercial development, development of collaborative agendas

  • Development of organizational vision and work program
  • Overall policy development

Maureen A. Hogan, Deputy Director

Education:

  • M.A. Public Administration, University of Pittsburgh, PA
  • B.A. Political Science, minors in English and American History, Wheeling Jesuit University, Wheeling, WVA

Work Background:

  • Public Sector Management and policy development; strategic planning, neighborhood planning; project management, program development, organizational development and public participation/facilitation

Responsibilities at PPND:

  • Internal and external strategic planning
  • Neighborhood planning assistance and facilitation
  • Program development
 
 

Randy J. Krakoff, CPA, Chief Financial Officer

Education:

  • B.S. Business Administration with a major in Accounting, Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Indiana, PA
  • licensed Certified Public Accountant in Pennsylvania

Work Background:

  • Financial, accounting, auditing and systems implementation experience at varying levels in real estate, banking, utility, construction and nonprofit industries

Responsibilities at PPND:

  • Day-to-day accounting and financial operations of PPND including budgeting; forecasting; financial reporting; implementation and review of internal controls 
  • Financial underwriting of potential grantees and projects seeking PPND funding
  • Development of loan products
 
 

David Light, Loan Officer

Education:

  • M.A. Architecture, University of California, Los Angeles, CA
  • B.A. Urban Planning, University of Maryland, College Park, MD

Work Background:

  • Real estate experience including city planning, architecture, real estate development and mortgage banking, working extensively with neighborhoods, nonprofit organizations, public agencies and private sector interests

Responsibilities at PPND:

  • Loan programs and lending activities
  • Primary contact and local representative for LISC loan programs
  • Technical assistance in all phases of development process
 
 

Sarah Dieleman Perry, Program Officer

Education:

  • M.A. Economic and Social Development, Certificate in Nonprofit Management, Graduate School of Public and International Affairs, University of Pittsburgh, PA
  • B.A. in English and Philosophy, minor in Theology, Calvin College, Grand Rapids, MI

Work Background:

  • Community organizing; international community development; public sector planning; program management; grant and loan management; real estate project underwriting

Responsibilities at PPND:

  • Monitoring and evaluation of grants
  • Needs assessment and capacity building
  • Facilitation of dialogue among community developers
 
 

Talia Piazza, Program and Administrative Coordinator

  • M.A. Public Administration, Gannon University, Erie, PA
  • B.A. Legal Studies, minor in Political Science, Gannon University, Erie, PA

Work Background:

  • Marketing/communication development and management, client/customer support, outreach and relations, branding and advertising development, conference/meeting planning

Responsibilities at PPND:

  • Communications and Marketing
  • Program Assistance

Wanda E. Wilson, Program Officer

Education:

  • M.A. Urban and Environmental Policy and Planning, Tufts University, Medford Massachusetts
  • B.A. Sociology/Anthropology, Denison University, Granville, OH

Work Background:

  • Nonprofit advocacy, outreach and public relations; strategic planning; neighborhood planning; public policy and administration; mediation/conflict resolution; land use, zoning, and GIS mapping; grants management; community engagement/facilitation; project management/program delivery

Responsibilities at PPND:

  • Monitoring and evaluation of grants
  • Needs assessment and capacity building
  • Facilitation of dialogue among community developers
