Welcome to the Pittsburgh Community
Information System
Summary
Pittsburgh
Community Information System is a web-based property
information system that connects data related to neighborhoods
and individual properties. The system is designed
to enhance community and economic development decision-making
in the City of Pittsburgh.
The
information intervention tool integrates geographic
information with public administrative data from local
governments along with selected street level real estate
parcel surveys to provide a dynamic view of neighborhood
market activity. This first generation system
is designed to encourage neighborhood investment by
improving the access to property and neighborhood residents,
community organizations, and policymakers to mobilize
support for community enhancements in the Pittsburgh
area.
If
you are interested in learning more about the project
or how the system can benefit you, please contact 412-471-3727
